Ultra-modern housekeeping cabins await you at Come By Chance Resort. Each cabin has a spacious living area, fully equipped kitchen, bath, shower, and large bedrooms. Each cabin can comfortably fit 4-10 people and with enough notice, we can handle groups of up to 40. Check our rates for off-season specials. (Note: Come By Chance supplies all linens, but towels must be provided by the customer.)




New in 2009, the “Bear Paw Mercantile” which will offer you many convenience items, bait, and gifts. The mercantile will also provide a new centrally located resort office for easy check-ins and outs.


On site facilities also include two fully equipped fish cleaning houses which are heated for winter use. freezer service and ice are available to keep your catch fresh. The resort also sells fishing and hunting licenses as well as live bait.

Nestled in the middle of the property you will find a beautiful 50 ft. heated swimming pool with wrap deck and plenty of space to bask in the sun.

Spacious playground and volleyball court awaits you when it’s time to burn up some energy.



Trailer Sites

If camping under the stars is for you, our large, fully serviced sites will interest you. The sites can accommodate  motor homes. There is a dump station and portable honey wagon for your added convenience.


Boats & Motors



To safely take you to and from your favorite fishing spot, we use 14′ Lund boats and 9.9 hp outboards.
You are, of course, welcome to bring your own boat. We have excellent boat launching and docking facilities.


Whitefish Lake is known to be one of the top ten Walleye and Perch fishing Lakes in all of Ontario.
